For Years, RSM have been maintaining its lists of members into Physical Directory, from its first release in 1992 During our Past President Sri Kailash Chandji Agarwal to Sri Suman Prakashji Saraogi in 2015. Today, however, the spiral-bound member directory is outdated. As the world moves from physical books to digital media. With the Internet now integrated into nearly all aspects of our business and personal life, increased use of Social networking, use of online classes for children, Work from Home culture etc..has become the part of day to day life.
Keeping in mind the above, the Executive Committee RSM 2021-23 under the Leadership of our President Sri Shankarlal Sharma, decided to build a Website and Mobile Application and gave me the opportunity to be the Editor/Publisher in-charge of developing and make it success. Being the Secretary of RSM and Editor/Publisher In-charge of publishing Website and and App was a challenging task for me, i try my best to give the best service, and launched the website and App on the occasion of Diwali Sneh Milan in RSM Bhavan on 7th of Of November 2021 by MLA Sri Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar , who has praised a lot. Any suggestion and changes are always welcome.
People today primarily look for others’ contact information online. Many people still get a phone book delivered to their doorstep ,but very few people actually use it to look up an address or phone number. Instead, they search for the details they need online or in the stored contacts of their phone.
In today’s techno era , one need the information instantly, when we need to search any members details, we might not find the Physical Directory, sometime we keep it at home or sometime at business place, this is time we feel the need of our online presence.
Creating an online directory follows this trend by making members’ contact information digitally available. People are using their phones, mobile devices and computers to look for this information, and an online directory lets them access others’ contact details through these devices.
Online member directories, of course, have several advantages over physical ones. Compared to traditionally published directories,
online ones:

* let members update their information anytime it changes
* won’t be lost by members
* are faster to search with several parameters

This increases the probability that a listed business will appear on search engine result pages, and consequently increases the chances of more people knowing about the member and their business.
Online directories make it easier for members to find or search directory by parameters such as Name, Mobile Number, Native Of, Firm Name, Item Deals With, making it simple for members to connect. Online Directory serve as a way to introduce member to each other.
For those who are wondering why online business directory is important, here is a key take that will give you a cue why targeted members listing is necessary for any association – According to the Local Search Association, almost 8 out of 10 people will look into an internet directory when they are in need of a particular service. Keeping the above in mind, we have added two features(Fields) in the directory i.e Firm Name and Item Deals with. Which will help members to find and send business leads within members.
